Ah, yes, the young people are to blame here. Which set of young people? People born in 1982 would have been eligible to vote for Gore and they aren’t the “TikTok” generation.
Okay. Neat!
Completely fair. I heard that theory and variously that taking it for prolonged periods of time reduces its’ effectiveness and leading the person to taking more (as is the case with many pills). You’ve consulted with a doctor on proper use for yourself, so everyone else can stuff it.
I keep repeating the point but in a debate with Trump, Clinton qualified her support for abortion that should be “legal, safe, and rare.”
Pay no mind to that! Look, look, Tim Kaine speaks Spanish! Isn’t that exciting?!/s
I very well know that Birth Control and melatonin are nowhere near being 1:1 in comparison.
IDK, I’m trying to think of a compromise position here.
Yep, ranked choice voting and a parliamentary system would how we would better achieve a democracy. I’ll be dead before that happens, though.
As long as people in the US do not have regular access to a doctor and as long as long maintenance prescriptions are only prescribed for three months at a time, BC pills should be OTC with consultation from a pharmacist.
This is also why we need Medicare For All. No state would be able to offer “lesser” services than another one if the government (tax payers) were footing the bill.
I don’t forget. Jill Stein is a grifter and a fraud.
I think there’s just too much bad blood for Bernie for getting in Hillary’s way (as I’ve argued, Hillary’s loss isn’t on Bernie or the majority of his supporters).
Bottom line: any person who votes in the Democratic primary, but does not vote for the Democrat in the general because their preferred primary candidate did not win the nomination, doesn’t have standing to complain about what Republicans do.
Honestly? People are very, deeply, relentlessly stupid.
I’m sure misogyny is a big factor.
And that’s a Hillary problem. She chose Tim Kaine for her VP. She refused to move a centimeter to the left on any of her policies to accommodate people left of her. But, yeah, sure, if Bernie poofed out of existence the young people would have been tripping on themselves to vote for Pokemon Go To The Polls.

I was making fun of the comments in another article that blamed Bernie Sanders for this. Some people view Bernie Sanders choice to run in 2016 as a catalyst for all of the disaster we are experiencing now. Which is...not correct! It’s not even focusing outrage in the right direction.
I won’t argue that that could be a factor but I don’t really think it’s in the top five reasons not to be enthused by Bernie. Bernie didn’t really “use” his faith and heritage in his campaign the way a Christian might. He’s also of the old school left where the “only war is class war” where identity politics were…
