Garfield has that “guy next door” quality. He’s cute, but kind of plain and gangly and there’s something feminine about him/his acting. Whereas I feel like Barnes is in the “unattainable” Chris Hemsworth kind of masculine beauty category. Ergo, Barnes is more attractive as a prince than Garfield would be.

I’ll add that our culture pretends like it rewards people who make the “right” choices. Sure, you might be a bum who sits around and watches Joe Rogan but at least you aren’t a drug addict!
