I’m not sure if you’re referring to his tweet about Tiffany re: asking for a pardon but the tweet is from November 2020.

The Police Chief setting it up for her as an “oopsie” is to establish intent. I think everyone knows he was murdered, but just like with George Floyd they need to justify it in some way to get the sentence and consequences to be as small as possible.
Just like with “cancel culture” the GOP appropriating “woke” makes me cringe.
Oh, you mean his actual biological son Nestor who he had with Maisbel Mendez, Nestor’s supposed sister?
I’m inclined to agree.
It’s clear that he’s been an inappropriate person since forever but he really seemed to go off the rails in the last six months. There’s that thing with Harris Faulkner and “wanting a cigarette” after Marjorie Taylor Green’s speech.
Apparently she’s a friend of Tiffany’s? I could see on that basis this being a joke between friends but I’ve got a suspicion that his fiance is/was hitching herself to the wrong wagon because she was under the impression that Gaetz is rich enough to support her.
I’m not saying that Gaetz was trying to get close to Tiffany because he’s known he’s in trouble for a long time.
the TL;DR of his memoir, straight from me and hot off the presses:
I’m guessing anyone who doesn’t just want to put it behind them (i.e. pretend like they weren’t in the administration) is going to have to wait on a lawyer to sort through their NDA and find out how much of what they could tell is a national security risk. You also have had to be “someone” for the publishers to give…
Being touched by a penis is gross though?
Right. I don’t imagine they envisioned Cyborg doing something really badass and doing one deep “boo-yah”
From the article , it sounds like some big wig money person who needed to cross-promote their products wanted him to say “boo-yah.” This doesn’t make sense for the Snyder version of the character but does add to the pile of evidence that they wanted a Whedon style laugh-fest.
There’s nothing wrong with trying to eat ethically (very up to interpretation) or trying to eat in a way that you feel is healthiest for your body.
I have the same memory but I think at the time COVID-19 was showing to be a slow evolver under the lockdowns and restrictions that were in place.. The reason we have all of these variants “all of a sudden” is that the virus figured out what it was supposed to do to survive, independently, in different locations under…
Seconding this. Everyone is rightfully talking about preventing the spread of the virus but wearing a mask has made me less self-conscious since the half of my face I like the least isn’t visible. I can smile with my eyes without having to twist my mouth into a polite grimace.
Serious question: Doesn’t this violate parents’ rights to deciding the healthcare their children get?
I know that the Biden administration is currently breaking the law by detaining the kids longer than the law allows AND that the Biden admin was unprepared for the influx of people trying to seek asylum, which is their right.
I’m pro “the media” but it’s awful cute that they collectively care about the conditions at the border now. Not that the Biden and Obama administrations have been great at dealing with this and that they shouldn’t report on it of course.
Assigning food as a good or bad action is what leads to the up-down you mentioned: I’m already bad, so I might as well be extra bad. Which leads to guilt and shame which leads to even more negative food interactions.
