You're right. The only way to call attention to Make-A-Wish and the struggles of parents with kids fighting serious illnesses is a starring vehicle for Julia Roberts.

This is a beautiful little story that in no way needs to be ruined by a movie which will undoubtedly change basic details to make it far more schmaltzy, especially if it means Julia Roberts can get some good, meaty on-screen crying time.
It is very distracting.
Tom Hanks: "And the winner for best picture goes to, Bir..."
Birdman was pretty awesome.
Thank goodness we no longer have out-of-touch rich people who only look out for themselves.
A memorable I want moment for me (in this case) isn't from a princess. It's I Just Can't Wait To Be King. Mainly because Simba does know what he wants. However, not only does he not get what he wants, he ends up actively running away from it for a good portion of the film. Then when he finally does go back it is…
Yeah, the guys pretty cool:
I wish Disney would get back to it's roots. I was underimpressed by Frozen, but I'm also a 26 year old dude, so I'm a little out of the demographic, I guess. Big Hero 6, on the other hand...
Considering I just watched "Earth to Echo" a couple months ago...and "Super 8" a couple years ago, I would say these movies are definitely NOT dead. They are certainly more rare...but they are still out there.
Padme's death scene was completely ridiculous, but it also bugs the crap out of me because it doesn't jive with the way Leia describes the few memories she has of her mother. I know that all Leia says in the original trilogy is that Padme was "Very beautiful. Kind, but sad." I'm willing to maybe think that the…
"Only my lawyer talks to my wife!"
This is really great - wonder if it was inspired by this version at LEGO KidsFest. (Notice the tiny Bilbo behind the column. And yes, the inside was lit up and could be seen through translucent bits in his underside.)
ARE YOU SERIOUS?! A brutal throwdown between T-Rex and raptors that ends with the rex smashing the raptors into a giant skeleton and then giving out a triumphant roar while the banner "When Dinosaurs Roamed the Earth" tastefully flitters down across the screen. You sir or madam would not know an "ending" if it came up…
JP3 is one of my most-hated sequels because of how it throws the threat of the dinosaurs out the window AND sucks at internal logic AND blows at continuity with the rest of the series.
Still disappointed this movie didn't receive an Oscar nod. Boo.
One of the funniest bits in The LEGO Movie is when the Millennium Falcon shows up to come and get Batman.
Refrigeration. In any part of the world where electricity is consistently available, mass famines, formerly common, have become a thing of the past and food poisoning is no longer a major cause of death. If things keep progressing, that will be the case globally... and it isn't just for preserving food. Refrigeration…
Most underrated? Toilet paper. Imagine life without it.
Sorry, someone had to...
