There’s something condescending watching a show or movie where the makers evidently thought it was critical that you heard, in the most simplistic, least subtle way possible, some obvious message.

you miss the WHOLE point. The point is IP law is beyond ridiculous in this country. The game uses a common word for its title, and now acts like it owns that word across every industry and any form of that word, or any word with that word found within it. Its RIDICULOUS.
Sure, the law is applicable to both the rich and poor in the same way that laws banning sleeping under bridges or begging in the street is also applicable to both rich and poor.
