You joke, but I bet they’d sell 1000 of those.

Here is a higher res version of the pic.

I like that the memo about leaks...was leaked.

Meanwhile, Ford is hemorrhaging customers because they’re having to wait 3-6 months or longer on backordered essential parts, often from these same suppliers. Almost guaranteed to find a backorder on any estimate we do currently. But yeah, let’s go after these same suppliers over some leaks. Makes sense.

What’s the old saying, loose lips sink... marketing campaigns?

“You’re an idiot if you leak photos. BTW, send us your leaks!”

yeah ive always thought this was pretty tacky.

  • Hiding them from the sun prevents the UV damage from turning the rubber in to hockey pucks.

Not very manly.  Do they have them in skulls or barbed wire for my angry faced Wrangler?

Loud definitely equals fun, at least on a nice engine. Most of the reason I’d take the GT350 over the Mustang GT is due to how much better the former sounds.

I’d rather they die than be bastardized. Because nonsense like this is what happens:

I’m not even conservative and even I know this is the wrong move. People buy a ponycar instead of a supercar because of the engine. If I’m buying a Mustang, I want a nice, naturally aspirated V8 up front. They’d be better off just killing the model at that point, and introducing something else that pairs off better to

I am a big time EV fan... But Ford is IMHO making a mistake. People who buy mustangs tend to be similar to people who buy full sized Trucks. Very conservative. This isn’t going to go well for them

im not so sure about that a quick search of autotrader says a used highlander from 2009-2013 highlanders go anywhere from 8k-16k depending on mileage. it’s probably worth it to spend $2500 to just replace the transmission then to scrap the car for 600 bucks and then fork over  10 grand on a replacement car exactly

I’ve tracked the cost per mile of my Prius and, for about 12k miles/year, I've averaged $0.32/mile. It's insanely low, and that includes a battery replacement.

15 years and counting

Don’t let higher odo readings put you off. Mine had about 170K when I bought it, has over 230K now. Runs fine. The horror stories of $4000+ battery replacement costs may indeed be true but they’re uncommon, and you can find new batts on the aftermarket with excellent reputations for less than half that price.  The

Or just people who wanted a safe, reliable, efficient, hatchback.

Owned several Toyotas in the past, love the reliability.  Not the point I know, but how did they manage to make the damned thing so ugly?  That Prius in the pic is atrocious looking.
