Fiat/Chrysler/Whoeverownsthemnow paid off their R&D and tooling for this platform literally decades ago. Every 300/Charger they sell now is pure profit.

Because its essentially a Charger and both cars still sell well.

I saw the headline and the car and thought you were talking about the entire car.

I’m not sure you understand consumers. Less than 1% of BMW owners are taking their cars to a track. Most are just going to the same places as Kia owners. The store. The park. A four hour drive to the inlaws. From a manufacturing standpoint, the production difference between a BMW and a Kia just isn’t big enough for

We really need a top 16 playoff. Or a conference champ+5 playoff. Yes, it means the bottom conferences will likely get slaughtered in round one or two much like basketball, but.... you never really know when one or two will pull off some crazy shit. Honestly, if we hit that point where we have the conference champs

I have no beef with OSU getting in. Whoever played Alabama was going to get killed and there were flaws with the 3 non-Alabama teams that made the playoffs (losses, didn’t play enough games).

Yeah but this isn’t $200 jeans vs $9 jeans - it’s a $40,000 car that’s 75% as intangibly “special as an $80,000 car - and my point is that to the average consumer - it’s close enough.

Reverse: If he did it on a lake, is it really a *land* speed record?

Also I have to take the opportunity to point out just how bland current premium interiors can be especially given the increased competition from cheaper marques.

So you’re saying the National Automobile Dealers Association has no integrity?

I’m on ExPo, I’ve seen both sides. Though I will say expecting a car to be able to do 5k miles without problems is a very low bar.

Less than 10k units? That’s going to make the inevitable recalls much easier to handle. Look I know its an old and tired joke that Land Rover’s are unreliable...but they aren’t really shaking it. Electronic gremlins abound, major engine issues, poor dealer training resulting in accessories ruining the car

I like the high seating position because it gives you the best vantage point to spot the tow truck you called.

The Fast Lane also has constant air suspension errors that require cycling the car on and off to clear. Doug DeMuro has one and his sunroof broke already, thankfully closed.

I wonder how many of them have already visited the local service centre...

Ooof the new GM logo is bad.

If they ever bring the Dodge Viper back, they should make the snake less likely to confuse with a certain Looney Tunes character. (some people think if you flip it upside down it looks like Daffy Duck)

GM needs a makeover back to it’s old design. The new one is complete garbage. It lacks authority, it has no balance, it looks cheap, and many will misread the stylized lower case g as q.

It’s like something a freshman design student would do as their first attempt, then the professor would say, that’s no good, then
