I grew up in Colorado. When FOTF showed up they put a community that once respected or at least ignored each others differences into the center of the culture wars and it got tremendously ugly.  Neighbors learned to hate neighbors, friendships died, bullshit and cruelty became the norm.

Why are we not talking about the real issue here: he’s encouraging kids to bring bibles to school and preach to classmates. The dubious background of a clearly bigoted organization (it’s religion; he doesn’t care and is homophobic) shouldn’t surprise.

Counterpoint: 99% of Catholics I know are Cafeteria Catholics.

That’s crass.

That was the one that had me rethinking my viewing habits for the sport. He had no idea where he was and couldn’t stop. It was involuntary and very sad to watch. Here is a physical marvel at the absolute peak of his powers and he was rendered to nothing more than a 250-pound crying infant.

The last GG Allin show I saw also ended with a wet thud.

What makes you think politics is something you can just “put off”? I see my politics as an integral part of my personal morality and who I am. How do you view politics, as a “team sport”? Do you think agreeing not to criticize Israel’s treatment of Palestinians during a trip to Israel is like agreeing not to bring

Israel responded by knocking down her grandmother’s neighborhood and shooting another ten kids in the back with butterfly bullets.

I don’t have wifi at my home right now/for the past week and it took me like a full DAY to realize there were state conspiracy theories going on. I originally thought people just thought he was murdered bc he was gross. Lol.

My cynicism had kicked in. Why would anyone feel the need to silence him, when any abomination, any depravity, seems to pass by with no repercussions? We have a self-admitted sexual predator who has been credibly accused of child rape in the White House. We have babies in cages and U.S. citizens being nabbed and

The federal case ends with his suicide but the civil cases will continue in his absence. Of course, the defendant is now his estate and the lawyers will have to go purely on evidence. But he would have pleaded the 5th anyway, so not much has really changed. Whatever evidence the plaintiffs have (hopefully tons of it)

Bill Clinton, Donald Trump and hordes of other powerful men are enjoying this blessed Saturday, I'm sure. What a fucking letdown.

Or, he just really likes to play basketball and win and we are assigning way too much motivation to a guy who might actually just be kind of a dummy.

You’re good. If people list a bunch of Tarantino work as faves, its usually a giant red flag.

At the risk of outing myself as having terrible taste in film, does anyone else find most of his work unwatchable? I’ve just never understood the appeal of such a high violence to plot ratio and it’s really off-putting to me.

It never ceases to surprise me that a story on our fellow American workers looking for decent job conditions, will have people lining up to tell you that they side with the corporation.
