yes you can hide chat completely by clicking the arrow in the upper right hand corner. I only turn chat on for smaller streamers. no one is forced to actually use or view chat.

It blows my mind how much better toys have become. I mean just look at Transformers for example. Back in my day (the late 80s/early 90s) transformers were just, essentially, blocks of plastic or diecast that really weren’t poseable at all. now? the vehicle and robot modes are incredibly detailed, and highly poseable.

I’d say it existed before that. Look at professional sports. Players as early as high school who are obviously college/pro bound are held at higher standards then their peers who can’t compete at the same skill level and in many cases said future pro players act accordingly.
