The main reason I’m not getting an XSX/S is because they dropped Kinect support and that still gets used regularly in my living room (and it’s also the only tv-equipped room that’s kinect friendly), so my XOX is still the king of my living room for xbox games.

That’s a ridiculous take.

UPS delivers stuff using trucks.

Dropped PS4 save in a river... it has now been deleted. Delivery FAILED Sam!

Especially before they added the version tag to the icons at the latest update. Painful!

Unfortunately a lot of games require you to log into the ps4 version to initiate the transfer of your saves. Sony really needs to fix this stupid system, but I guess it will be less of a problem as time goes on and people bridge fewer and fewer games between generations.

So true - and the argument falls apart in the case of the bow. Your bow breaks! So I just... switch to another bow. It’s not like you can switch up between a bow, pistol, rifle, throwing spears, etc. No, I’m just switching from one bow to another and I just prioritize the bow with the best stats. Or worse, the player

Neither the PS4 or 5 have bluetooth audio unless you count connecting a wired headset to the controller (I don’t). As far as I know, the Xboxes don’t either. All wireless headsets for the X/PS consoles have required a dongle.

I only had the issue when I had an external usb storage drive attached, and I basically fixed it by trying different enclosures until I found one that didn’t make it happen. Are you using an external usb drive?

I know they did. The sleazy thing is that they were claiming for months that it was totally on the way and it was never officially cancelled.

Definitely agree on the 2nd point though. I would have been happy if they had just added a couple of more scripted heists to the game. I loved that part and there were way too

This article puts it in good perspective. It’s entirely about Google’s messaging endeavors, but you can just visit killedbygoogle.com to see that it’s a far more endemic problem to Google as a whole rather than just messaging:

I have a feeling it has to do more with the Google part of “Google Stadia” than it does with the Stadia part. In fact, if previous history is any indication, the fact that it’s good and works well makes it more likely that Google will shut it down and replace it with “YouTube Games” or something with 1/4 the features

Worst part is that they promised a ton of single player DLC was on the way... I was looking forward to it. For obvious reasons, I have a feeling it’s not going to happen.

If not for the current drought in my want-to-play list, I never would have played Pillars of Eternity, which a friend recommended not that long ago and I was able to get both for less than the price of a single new game.

I mean, assuming you’re not nuts enough to buy more games than you can play *cough and hides steam catalog*, That kind of happens naturally. I can realistically only play one or maybe two games at a time, so if four games I want to play are released in a month then no games for 6... I play those 4 for 6 months,

Basically the ultimate form of Mary Sue.

Funny you say that, because by the time I got a zipline network set up everywhere, I was basically done with the game and I was grateful for them particularly in the part towards the end where you have to go a crazy distance to proceed and (iirc) had to do so quickly. I definitely agree with the robot though... I

Once you take the time to do the zip lines (not nearly so much the roads), getting from A to Z on the map is almost arbitrary... but it’s also a crazy fun way to traverse the world. Especially shooting through the mountains in the middle of the map through all the snow storms and all that.

I personally hand-waved it as compression of real world distances for the sake of the very real limitations. I mean, back in the day Vice City was *looks it up* 3.52 sq miles, which is not nearly as large as the Miami it’s based on.

...but the story, as all Kojima games, never made any damn sense. I play them for the

I love and hate these fine art articles. Love them cause, you know, awesome art. Hate them because inevitably, I see the cover photo and go “omg that’s awesome, I want to play that game” only to find out it doesn’t exist, lol.

I came here to make almost the exact same comment... nice.
