The only stuff I tend to get and not always play right away are ps plus freebies, lol. Mostly because I go “eh, something to play on a rainy day” - so I save them for release droughts, like this year has been so far (with a few notable exceptions).

Umm... this is actually pretty reasonable. Check out what happened with the ps5 release of Judgement. Full price no matter whether you bought the original or not plus save files didn’t transfer between editions.

The ps4/ps5 save situation is kind of ridiculous though... Having to go through a black magic ritual to transfer saves that are probably just partitioned off logically but in exactly the same format* is ridiculous.
