I love how it just randomly says “forty” in the margin there next to Lex, just in case you missed it.

Oh, that I get, just from the description it sounded like he wanted to control a device that wasn’t related to the activity he was using. Pausing the TV is something I happen to do all the time, and probably one of the most useful things you can do with these smart home things.
For what it's worth, I've looked at it with a camera before and it has at least two IR lights on the front, so yeah... I've found it's crazy powerful and can hit things that are at weird angles compared to the hub with no issues
Wow that’s a bit weird. Usually when you change activities the hub will leave stuff on if it’s used in the 2nd activity (like if I say turn TV on and I am playing the ps4, it just turns the ps4 off and changes input on the TV). I mean I’m mostly a Google home user - I just ended up liking how it handles music better -…
I’m curious, what’s the use case where you want to control something you’re not actively using? I’ve never had this problem myself. (seriously just curious, not saying you’re wrong: it’s your house after all, not mine!)
And as his mother, “eat a salad” can easily be shorthand for “start taking care of yourself, son!” I mean, she’s his mother - when you’re an adult kid talking to the mother that raised you from a youngin’, they can pass along a ton of meaning with a few words or even a knowing look.
It feels like the author is trying to claim that the movie said “Thor played fortnite and therefore gained 50lbs” when it’s obvious from even before you see him that he is thoroughly depressed since the events in that first part of the movie. Full disclosure: when I was in my longest, darkest depression, I gained…
Yeah I don’t think he was sober until sometime after that scene.
They are... inevitable.
NOOOOOOOO!
Classic, classic clip.
Wait, what?! Vader is Luke’s father?? No. No! That’s not true! That’s impossible!
Lol, yeah... just rubs the completionist in me the wrong way. I wanna be everyone’s friend! Except Ryuji. Fuck him.
I mean, it sounds like he had fun with the zombie hordes but I’d wager the bugs put a big damper on that. It doesn’t sound fun to me, but I’m way past sick of zombies, crafting, & survival, so this game wasn’t even a consideration for me unless the reviews came out saying it was amazing.
Ohh that’s helpful at least. You’d think they would have mentioned that in the article (or they did and I totally glossed over it...)
Especially for a game where everything is time-limited... How am I going to get time to cultivate another friendship on top of everything else I have to do in there already? I mean, I loved the game, but it was already hard enough to pursue romance and grow my other friendships on top of grinding my various stats.
Yep. I bet the ps4 could instant load stuff if the texture and model quality was from the ps3 or ps2 era. It’s been ages since I’ve seen talk of polygon counts in games, and I have no idea if that’s even still a thing when building models because I’m not a game dev, but textures going from 128x128 to 512, to 1024, etc…
That explains why the characters in so many games walk so slowly...
um... multiple broken items? I dunno - sorry, too much time working with “offshore resources” - I’ve gotten used to broken English.
When people are forced to change their passwords over and over, they tend to revert to using the same password again and again and just altering a number or a letter, say “Password1" to “Password2", etc. Forcing password changes are a terrible practice.
