No. Nerf.
No. Nerf.
Yeah definitely weird. Especially now realizing that when the Simpsons started I was the same age as Bart (or at least, when I started watching it - I was 10 so I can't say for sure that I started it from season 1). If he would have been aged properly he’d be in his late thirties by now...
... Sounds like you want a game where you play as Timon and Pumba.
For what it’s worth, the game literally showers you with nice guns. You’ll have shotguns and uzi’s coming out of your pores with excellent stats, and it has a nice feature that every time you get a level, they give you a ‘proficiency cache’ that’s full of goodies at your new level. I’m liking it so far.
It’s true. There are some companies I trust with automatic updates, but Microsoft surely isn’t one of them. I have never had a Linux update break things nearly as badly as Windows updates tend to do - of course the irony is that Linux tends to respect your wishes about updates. It’s been an age since I’ve used a mac,…
I tried playing with this myself yesterday and while it worked fine on my laptop, it didn't work at all on my desktop pc. I just get a message that my hardware isn't capable and that's it. A little poking around and it's either due to my lack of an Intel based video chip or Wi-Fi (or both). I'm not about to downgrade…
Gee I wonder why people don’t like having automatic updates shoved down their throat. Couldn’t be because every other patch seems to break something. I mean, yeah, this is annoying and relatively minor, but let’s not forget the fiasco that was the fall update last year.
Funny how car manufacturers are doing the opposite and putting everything on touch screens that you have to look at to operate while driving. I will never understand that - touch screens do not belong in my dashboard.
Shaving.
Yeah, that’s the original reason I never started playing WoW (never being done). I find that being able to walk away from a game after I stop having fun is even more important as I get older and have less and less time to play a game. If I only have 30 minutes to play on a weekday, I want to play something I’ve been…
Yeah my first instinct when I hear zombies is just to go to a hard pass. I got burned out on zombies years ago and I don't know if I'll ever get over it.
Yeah, same here. Remember how awesome that promised single player DLC was for gta 5?*
Yep! Not to mention that even confining it to just English, there are dozens of translations going back to King James (there are probably older English translations but I am not familiar with them). Further, it would naturally contain grammatical oddities because translating from any language with vastly different…
Ain’t that the truth, and it’s probably the written equivalent. I’ve been trying to train my nephew and nieces against doing this. I ask them “are you asking me or telling me?” It’s ok to assert yourself! Statements are ok!
But I’d say that the use of question marks at the end of a statement is much more annoying to me. So, it should stop. And I don’t care if it’s just for me, specifically. Yet I can understand why someone would feel strongly that their statement should be marked as a question. For the cromulent embiggening of mankind.
I mean, he even knows what he named his penis, so this is totally legit.
Found something! This article might be a good place to start:
I guess you could lap up the coffee like a cat with a saucer of milk, but it might be a bit hot for that..
Mine is always on but I do allow it sleep - when it’s in sleep mode it uses less than a dime of energy for the year. From there, it wakes from sleep and including the time it takes to type my password and my pc is usable in maybe 3 seconds flat - faster than even I’m able to wake up. So yeah, I don’t get the point of…
I had something like this ages ago. I dug around a bit and found that there are commands that allow you to see what is waking the computer and such but unfortunately it’s been so long that even some googling right now hasn’t turned up much (I’m probably just not using quite the right terms). It is possible to figure…
