Im kind of done with Nintendo force-naming games after the system they’re on. It was cute when the Super NES came out and every game was Super <noun> - Super Metroid, Super Mario Bros, Super Tetris, etc. etc. so I’ve been glad that on the switch that hasnt been the case with, for example, Breath of the Wild and

For what it’s worth, I’ve had success in blocking videos on Kotaku entirely using uBlock Origin. If I want to watch it, I can just toggle the block off.

Looking at the weird random junk they have listed on my main amazon page as stuff they recommend I buy, I am seriously skeptical that they’d ever send me something I’d want. But I guess I’ll see... FREE STUFF!!

Youd be happy to know that I heard this post in a Russian accent in my head. Unfortunately, its not a very good Russian accent, so there’s that.

Yep, the only way for that to happen would be if all of the characters were reduced to guy with gun, and maybe you can change the skins”. So long as characters have different abilities and specialties, that isn’t going to happen. Maybe theyd be happier playing fortnite or whatever.

Seriously, here part of me always hoped that the anime trope of women apologizing for ‘causing trouble because of things that were done to them or were otherwise out of their control was just a sickening trope. It turns my stomach to see it happen in real life.

And thats fair if that’s the kind of job youre shooting for! However, if you’re help desk guy #1435 I don’t think it’s warranted.

UGH boars. I havent played in forever - have they fixed the hitboxes on boars yet?? I remember getting attacked by those things and shooting them with arrows only to have the arrows fly right through their head without affecting them at all.

Back to your main point, I love that idea. I ran around quite a bit before I

It also drives me nuts how if you are in an over-leveled area, bad guys can just shrug off your assassinations as if you were a chihuahua biting at their ankles. Just seems unrealistic to me - I don’t care what kind of badass you are, if someone sneaks up behind you and stabs you through your heart, you’re not going to

That sucks, Id only run into that (and heard of it) in the last 5 or so years. Yeah, I agree, a person’s credit score shouldn’t have a bearing on whether or not they can get a job.

I think the first stupid mistake you can make is to assume that youre smart.

I actually started doing this with pullups on my pullup bar about 10 or so months ago, and the results have been shockingly good. After about 2 months I could lift myself without jumping off, and now I can actually meet my chin to the height of the bar for 10 full reps without discomfort in my muscles. I called it

Its true, my credit took a short-lived dive after I paid off my student loans. I was rather annoyed.

To add to this, in the US your credit score is starting to affect a lot more things than borrowing money - for example, mine was checked in the process of applying for work. Yes, apparently some companies won’t hire you if your credit score isn’t high enough.

It always got me that the magical equivalent was always vastly backwards compared to the muggle version. Ok, a quill to write... but then the pen is invented - why not adopt that and use a pen to write with, perhaps improved in some way by magic? Email was around in the 90's, as were telephones, and two-way radios.

It really only filters out responding to ‘personal’ requests, not everything. Trust me, you don’t want it to refuse to work when it doesn’t recognize your voice, because it is truly awful at doing that. You have to use the exact same tone of voice you used when you trained it, and sure, you can use a different tone

... yeah I was trying to be conservative, but you’re probably right.

No joke, there should be regulations requiring they replace their damn tires before they fall apart, literally, on the highway. Id wager that 95%+ of shredded pieces of tire I pass on the highway came from one of these jokers.

I second this. I went from doing that to a job with normal hours, and life is so much better. So much. I should have left that Hell hole when I got raked over the coals for coming in at 8:02am after working from 3am until 7:30am.

On Android, there's the option to allow phone calls during dnd, with further options to limit it to contacts only. There is also a toggle to let a call go through if you get called from the same number more than once within 5 minutes or so. I tested it myself from the wife's phone, it works great.
