I second this. I went from doing that to a job with normal hours, and life is so much better. So much. I should have left that Hell hole when I got raked over the coals for coming in at 8:02am after working from 3am until 7:30am.

On Android, there's the option to allow phone calls during dnd, with further options to limit it to contacts only. There is also a toggle to let a call go through if you get called from the same number more than once within 5 minutes or so. I tested it myself from the wife's phone, it works great.
