Tetris is the simplest and earliest I can think of - the music speeding up as the blocks got closer and closer to the top of the screen. It had a way of making my adrenaline surge like nothing else for years.

I was going to say this exact thing! After years of PC building I finally saw someone talk about this a couple of years ago and built my latest PC that way. I was absolutely shocked at how clean the PC was when I opened it up to add something and found that the inside of the PC was friggin’ pristine. 

No kidding. My pup gets cold/room temperature wipes and he's fine with it. In fact, now that he's gotten used to the process he actually stops crying when we start to change the diaper unless he's also hungry.
