Reminds me of when I found out that the dubbed version of Dragon Ball Z wayyyy back in the day was censored to the point where episode 70 something in Japan was 40 something in US. Adding parachutes when a bad guy blows up an aircraft, cutting out a part where Gohan as a kid pees on a rock (because OMG kids don’t know

Reminds me of HIMYM when the narrative always changed to ‘ate a sandwich even when it made 0 sense.

Im starting to feel like I’m the only person in the world that doesnt touch the stuff.

Note: I don’t care if you do and as far as I’m concerned legalizing it is a great idea for many reasons.

Yep. For goodness sake, the single player DLC never materialized - if they can't put in the effort for that why would they bother with a full game? We should be glad they're doing rdr 2 at all.

Maybe it’s the years of being on call, but I don’t remember when I was last tempted to scroll through my phone when I go to sleep. Which is good... since I have to keep my phone nearby in case work calls. So that means...

That’s just beyond infuriating. Plex does a pretty good job streaming and they have a solution that can use a cloud service for your media. Maybe I’ll invest in dropbox or something and go that route... I have mainly used it as a front end for my PVR at home, so mostly video stuff, no idea if the music handling is any

Wait, which are they dropping?? I have both...

That’s funny, I usually prefer to play as characters that are totally not like me. But then, I kind of have to be, with my skin tone and hair type only about 1/10 games that have character customization come close to allowing me to create someone that looks like me, lol.

Can I get these bug fixes in real life?

Thats good advice about exercising. With the endorphins released and getting the blood going it could go a long way to combat that blah feeling he was talking about when he gets home from work.

I hit a place like this about 3-4 years ago and I have gotten into a groove now where the minute I realize I’m starting to get bored with a game, I’ll just rush the main story, see the ending, and then I can say “I finished that game, and no I don’t care that I didn’t find all 150 macguffins”. For example, once I

Yep, I got my first UK passport a few years ago and clearly remember the documentation saying ‘do not smile’.

Exactly. How can she complain that the game is shallow when all we know about the story/plot is the name of the main character and that there will be nudity and no Ciri? Or that the game has to be full of a specific type of humor because the dev decided to include a day/night cycle and weather instead of locking in

Ain’t that the truth. My story has more to do with blundering and sheer dumb luck than anything else - if I had only listened to them, I would have probably been a lot worse off.

Yep. I got through college on a combination of scholarships and a grant for low income families. I did end up with a little debt, but it was because the university I went to required summer courses and they weren’t covered by my scholarships or grants. Even then, since I went to a local public university, my loans

I’ve found that some people are literally caricatures of themselves. I’ve no idea if they do it intentionally, to be ironic, or just sometimes those tropes are a thing for a reason... but they just are.

I hate to be that guy, but I’ve got to say...
The capital is the political center of a nation or state (i.e. Washington D.C. the city) and the capitol is the building where legislators meet.

I feel the same, but for me about 70% of why I hate first person games is resolved by the fact that you’ll actually be playing an actual character with personality rather than a blank slate/silent protagonist, which makes me just disconnect with the game. I mean... I don’t play games to be me in the future, I play

The newer ones also started to penalize people for winning and most if not all of the minigames were all about random chance... Not fun for me or my friends that had been playing them for years.

I guess that’s slightly better than a paper tiger...?
