I would also love a solution for processes that can’t be killed. It’s only been a thing since windows 7, but man, since they changed it so that admin accounts aren’t really admin accounts anymore, every now and then I run into a process that has crashed, but can’t be killed by any method (command line, task manager,

Cygwin would do the trick too. I’ve been a longtime fan, especially at work where I’m forced into a windows environment but work with a ton of *nix boxes.

I mean... at least you’re not still pushing around a vacuum yourself... right?

No, you’re right, having it run when I’m not home is easily my favorite feature - I used to have one of the units that didn’t have scheduling and while it was nice to have around, starting it manually definitely made it vacuum less.

Oh man, Witcher 3. It’s one thing when it’s the lore pages, another when it’s everything. The menu’s, on screen text... all of it. I’m so glad they eventually patched it. For a long time, I used to turn down the resolution to 720p to get it just a bit bigger and eventually just started playing it via remote play on my

For what it’s worth, the last time I had that problem with Amazon I checked the delivery times and ordered a new one that magically appeared on time (I get free same day where I live) despite it claiming there was some delay and the original order being scheduled for delivery over a week later.

I don’t stir mine either!

...I use a travel mug that’s spill proof, so instead of stirring I shake the whole thing.

My first thought was that that fake $20 better also have a real one in there - otherwise the only message is “I’m a cheapskate and an asshole.”

Thank you. I now know I am no longer alone - my wife’s messages come in morse code, lol. It makes it extremely distinctive.

You can’t really blame Android for that unless you’re using a Pixel (which you might be!). All of the manufacturer’s feel the need to replace the Android messaging app with their own that’s usually ugly and not terribly helpful. However, like someone else said: get Textra or any of the other dozens of third party

Light Flow, as far as I’m concerned, is the gold standard for this and it can do the same for ALL notifications on your Android device, plus it lets you set custom LED colors as well. It has a ton of options, including the ability to stop too many notifications - yes, that group message: It will notify you only once

I’ve got to say that I really HATE the practice of using “security questions” to verify my identity. They are fundamentally not secure. So when I come across these, I add the question to my password manager and have it generate a 100 character password to feed it. Let’s see someone social engineer THAT.

In my head, your mistakes and doing things the real guy didn’t do make you go off the rails from the memory and that’s why it says “desynchronized” when you die or accidentally kill civilians. That was probably explained in the first game or two but I don’t remember, that was a lot of assassins ago.

It’s too bad so few things are built to last in the states at least. Everything seems to wear out after a year unless you shovel out a ton of money.

So true. If Tyrion were a female character they probably would have just cast a slightly shorter than average woman.

Ah yes, movie ugly. In other words: “Let’s take this gorgeous woman put glasses on her and make her wear clothes that don’t fit right and call her ugly”.

The sad truth of things like these is that while I would love to be more organized, I’m also not organized enough to use one of these effectively. I’m aware of the irony.

Yeah, at my university the average number of changes of major was 7. The average time-to-graduation? 6 years (I think, a little fuzzier on that number). That’s an insane amount of time and money to waste because you don’t know what you want to do.

I’ve a lil’un on the way and the fact that Netflix and chill is still a part of your life gives me hope. Thank you, good person!
