When you create a speaker group, it basically creates a virtual cast device, so you can address it as a group “set volume everywhere to 100%” or individually: “play my cooking dinner playlist in the kitchen” and it does so. It’s pretty slick and works shockingly well (I wasn’t expecting much).

Fortunately some of the newer motherboards now have a seperate little plug that you wire all your stuff to then plug into the mobo. It’s not painless but it’s a lot easier to wire that way than the it is with the mobo installed in the case.

Oh man, those games were amazing. I remember hours of duels online and the only time I actually got into PvP in a game enough to join a clan. I remember getting so good with the lightsaber that I could go through the single player game without using a single excess swing... and I wasn’t nearly the best.
