Heh, I don’t even live in the suburbs, but in a moderately sized city - without Uber Eats my delivery options for food are Papa Johns or Dominos. No other options. And a walk to pick up food? Unless I want to walk 4-5 miles to pick up dinner, that’s not an option unless you want fast food (NO). This guy seems to think

Hugely trustworthy. The most trustworthy ever. People are saying just how trustworthy it is.

I don’t own a Chinese phone, but I will say this about them vs. “American” phones like Samsung and Apple *cough*.... At least they believe in batteries. Further, unless you’re using a Pixel phone, you’re going to have a phone with a skinned version of Android that’s very behind on updates.
As for accessories, venturing

Totally stole my comment, good work.

Yeah, you can. When you create a speaker group, it basically creates a virtual cast device, so you can address it as a group “set volume everywhere to 100%” or individually: “play my cooking dinner playlist in the kitchen” and it does so. It’s pretty slick and works shockingly well (I wasn’t expecting much).

I loved Yakuza 0 - my first time playing the game, but I’m hoping that there’s more things translated into English somehow. I don’t mind subtitles and I enjoy the Japanese voices, but I felt like I was missing out on large parts of the game because I couldn’t understand the pedestrians on the street and stuff.

Same here. Siri with it’s snippy responses and such would drive me up the wall.

Funny, I turned mine off immediately because I hated, hated saying “Hey Cortana” over “xbox”. I find that it’s easily the most awkward assistant name I’ve tried to use, even worse than hey Google (although ok Google is almost as bad).

Exactly my thoughts. All video games need to apply the ‘rule of fun’, and this - even though it’s not for me - definitely looks like fun.

Yeah I played the beta and thought the same - I was never able to play any of the previous monster hunter games so this was my first encounter with the game.

While that’s generally true, it’s still worthwhile to wait. Windows XP before SP1 (I think that’s the one anyway) would self destruct after a few months use requiring a repair install at best. Also, look at the AMD users that were unlucky enough to install the patch for specter or meltdown (I forget which) and ended

Yeah I definitely wasn’t surprised, but I was legitimately mad when my prediction was proved right. While they did it very well in my opinion, I’m getting really tired of the “dad must die” trope. For once, just once, I’d like for a character to have a mom and dad that are alive and not assholes, thank you very much.

I’m really hoping that the fact that it’s also on the switch means that the ps4/xbox version will have local multiplayer. There’s way too little of that out there these days. I have many more friends in real life that I would like to play games with!

Fortunately some of the newer motherboards now have a seperate little plug that you wire all your stuff to then plug into the mobo. It’s not painless but it’s a lot easier to wire that way than the it is with the mobo installed in the case.

I think I would really like having a manservant named Argyle. Google, please make custom voice activation a thing!

Nice thought, but Sony’s use of passcode sent via SMS is hardly secured. It’s laughably easy to intercept those. It’s almost as bad as those ‘security questions’ which anyone with access to facebook can figure out in about 10 minutes.

Sadly, I’ve never seen it myself.

In all seriousness, though, I suddenly feel the need to buy a plane ticket to Idaho.

Yep, I find it odd that so many people are just taking Kylo Ren’s input on the matter without any other backing entirely at face value. Yeah, it might well be true but considering the source, ehhhh.....

Oh man, those games were amazing. I remember hours of duels online and the only time I actually got into PvP in a game enough to join a clan. I remember getting so good with the lightsaber that I could go through the single player game without using a single excess swing... and I wasn’t nearly the best.
