Eh, it’s no guarantee, none of my friends have ever set me up on dates.

If ya can’t name the toxin, it doesn’t exist. Plain and simple - I’m tired of people claiming toxins in this and that but never specifying what on Earth is toxic. When there’s a real toxin in something, you damn well know exactly what it is. Just ask anyone from Flint.

I think this is good advice. I don’t have kids yet, and I’m hispanic and my wife is white, however because of being raised with basically no other people with my national origin (and a lot of toxic behavior from a specific parent) I’ve never really associated myself with a specific culture, so I’ve always felt like an

I mean it’s not that insecure, so long as you’re not someone that’s likely to be targeted specifically it’s pretty unlikely someone will go through the trouble to clone your fingerprint just to get passwords out of your phone. On the other hand, law enforcement can compel you to provide a fingerprint, but not a

I think Google will do email forwarding for free, though. (As in they create an alias that will send to another email address).

The “security” training at a company I worked for used pictures just like that to depict the hackers that were trying to pwn us. Another one of my favorites featured a hacker wearing a bizarre headseat with laser pointers attached to it. Their security training wasn’t much better than that, either.

It’s worse now, too. A lot of things you used to be able to craft with regular minerals now require exotic plants from other planets and not easy to find ones, either.

Yeah completely agree on that last part. Even now my stress level goes up as a group gets larger and I’d rather stay at home and read a book quietly... but it can be done!

TL;DR Fake confidence long enough and you’ll be confident. That’s just how the world works.

No kidding. There was a time where I honestly felt like the entire Internet had self-diagnosed itself with “a mild form of autism/Asperger’s”.

I’ve kept hearing good things about it, so I’m basically in the same boat - haven’t tried it but definitely thinking about it.

Man that would be awesome. I haven’t played a good space sim since X-Wing Alliance.

I felt like that was mitigated by the fact that it only tends to trigger when the enemies are several levels lower than you to the point that it’s a waste of time to fight them, unless of course you’re trying to fill out the roster.

I stopped reading when you said Wear 2.0 improved smartwatches. My battery life dropped by 40% after Wear 2.0, and most of the changes especially to notifications are awful at worse and a huge step backwards at best. For example, I can no longer say “Ok google, text me wife I’m running late for dinner” and have it

Hm yeah, I remember a time in my mid-20's where all of my friends, seemingly, coupled off and got married leaving me as the only single person and therefore left out of just about everything. When they had kids, they disappeared entirely and then the only time I’d see them is if they happened to invite me to a kids

Whoa, do you know my mom?? I kid - my sister is not a teen, but dear lord this sounds like them.

I have an office job, and I can honestly say that in the last decade of my career, I have never come into contact with a client, customer, or interviewee. My number one priority as far as clothing at work is concerned is comfort. I can’t do my job if I spend the entire day thinking about how uncomfortable my pants

and it’s always in style!

The problem with this is that not everyone has easy access to healthy food even in the grocery store. Look up something called food deserts sometime.

I have an Nvidia shield TV which I got after I got sick of the long loading times and poor performance of the Roku 3, and let me tell you it blows it out of the water. Now that it also has Amazon Prime, I’m set - no complaints whatsoever and Nvidia has been amazing at keeping it up to date - even with the 2017 model
