This is a total non sequitur. “Women should be able to get drunk and not get sexually assaulted” does not imply “women should be able to get drunk and sexually assault people”.

I don’t follow football and have never heard of this man. Is this legitimate mental illness, drug addiction or what? The most likely outcome here is that Richie Incognito shoots someone or lots of someones, potentially including himself. He should be in an institution where he can't hurt anyone, not one where he's paid millions to do so.

Frankly, I as a pale American would have done the same thing.

This seems like that classically southern version of racism where people believe that you can be “proud of your southern heritage” by flying a Confederate flag and also “not be racist” because you’re not actively killing Black people. There’s also a subset of virulent racists who fly the flag and have legitimate…

There are a couple of people on Twitter that were on the flight, as well as a friend of the man kicked off the flight (claim to be, but their accounts seem very legitimate). All of them corroborate the claims in this article.

The crowd standing up for the person would lead me to believe he’s not at fault in this situation. 

I’m guessing there’s more to the story (there often is when someone is claiming to be victimized in a baffling manner by a company, but certainly not always), but I’m also guessing whatever the more to the story is doesn’t justify calling the cops and getting the guy thrown off the plane.
