i’m a fan, but then i like all kinds of disturbing public art:

When my parents were in college there was a goofy horse statue on campus that students not only protested, but vandalized, until the school got rid of it. I know this because the statue now lives in a local field and alums still complain about it existing and retell their favorite vandalization stories.
