I thought the M52s were cast iron blocks for the US, and AL for ROW? Anyway, I like the M52 in my ‘99 528 quite a lot, the later M54s use electronic throttles which isn’t as nice. In today’s bloated hp world 190hp/210lbft sounds pretty anemic but they’re strong German horses :)
