As a white man, I disagree. Monogrammed initials are classy. So say my monogrammed cuffs on my bespoke shirts.

I’m not a fan of any type of a woman who so poorly represents Bernie supporters as deranged and women as irrational. *Also* would rather support Trump than Hillary and went on a #NeverHillary campaign. No thank you! Go back to your ping pong crazy sue.

Yup. I was saying how there literally is never going to be an ideologically pure candidate or vote, it just doesn’t exist, and that there’s no one person who can get us out of this mess we’re in.

SERIOUSLY. This is exactly what happened with Brexit, and I thought MAYBE we’d learn from watching the UK’s mistakes, but apparently not. All those people who were like “Well, I voted leave, but I didn’t actually WANT to leave! I wanted to protest this vaguely related thing that the government/the EU/someone on TV

Translation: I don’t give a shit about this country so I will sit on my ass and stay home instead, but I will tell everybody I can’t vote for evil so I sound like a concerned citizen.

That was classic Clinton, they’ve always been wading out into crowds like Ghandi used to do, and the Trumps looked so awkward and like a bunch of people who don’t really know each other well or like each other, either. Lol it was gorgeous.

I think Trump and his family have been used to being able to be rude to or avoid whoever they like. They are big fish in a (comparatively) small pond. Hillary has had to smile and be pleasant to people here at home who have attacked her and her family, and she’s had to smile and be pleasant abroad to people who don’t

i just got kicked off a fb thread for saying that a false equivalency is the argument of the willfully ignorant. they didn’t like that at all. :(

I HATE it when people try to claim that both candidates are horrible - I feel like it’s usually because the person saying it just doesn’t want to feel the wrath of friends on one side or the other, so they try to stay neutral.

I read a commentary on the debate last night that I thought was pretty perceptive (unfortunately can’t remember who wrote it now), mentioning the fact that Trump depends on loud audiences who are 100% on side with him to be able to function as a public speaker. They give him energy, but they also give him whatever

I’m about to get ready for work and I am listening to a radio morning show (whose hosts are usually pretty sensible) and they called the debate a “tie”. Also, the people calling in are claiming that they hate both candidates and that both were an embarrassment last night. Some have said they won’t even vote at all.

That’s what is breaking my heart! I have a girlfriend whom is a really cool lefty teacher in alternative Atl that is talking about how both canidates are equally awful. I really adore this girl and her taste. But she equates HC with DT?

I thought she had him from the moment she walked over to shake his hand and called him Donald. She started getting under his skin right out of the gate.

My kingdom for some forensic accounting on this dude.

The equivalence assholes are worse than the actual Trump supporters in my opinion. Well, not worse in the kind of people they are, but worse in their disingenuous bullshit. At least Trump supporters are upfront about their idiocy, thode who are equating them are just dishonest jackholes.

Ikr? She pushed his buttons all night long. He was an unmitigated disaster.

Hillary brain ninja’d the FUCK out of that diseased orange with that comment about his dad giving him money. He was in control up until that point, subdued and a little boring, and then he immediately began to unravel. It was beautiful.

I really don’t have many friends on FB at all and it’s so funny to see the people still proclaiming “Both candidates are awful! I can’t stand either of them.”

I also laughed with glee at the ‘lack of stamina’ accusation. She looked like she could have gone 10 more rounds without getting winded.
