Armoires. This is why they had armoires. Also, regular folks didn't have as many clothes back then as we have now.

Bingo! Some of these would have been right at home in a '30s musical.
Because humans are inclined to compare. It's in our nature. I, too, live very high up the food chain. And part of me immediately got wanty when I saw that picture. Then I thought, "You don't need that stuff because you already have so much." I really think it isn't the instant response, it's what you do with that…
These read Morticia Addams to me...and I love it. Would I had the figure for some of these. Not wild about the make-up, but it does work with this. And I'm pretending all those fur pieces are fakes.
I am not at all surprised!
Absolutely. I get that everyone wants to have a special night with their whomever, but not having good choices at a nice place and having the price jacked because they know they can just isn't a win for me. And I'm not cheap. I don't mind spending on what I want. But what I want is a great experience with mah dude,…
I really hope your SO knows you're a keeper.
When Mr. rottenkitty asked if I was okay with not going out on VD, I pointed out that VD is amateur hour. I'd rather go out when it won't be insanely busy, when we can hear each other, and the price isn't jacked up by 30%. And I'll still wear a cute outfit.
I thought there were some really great gowns in this collection, but the collection as a whole was kind of a mess. Unfocused, colors that didn't relate to one another, it felt really scattershot to me.
Jesus, yes. And great title.
Why, why, why is Jezebel giving this guy any free publicity? Let his book sink into the obscurity it so richly deserves. Like Lindsey Lohan and others of the same ilk, if you stop paying attention to them, they become irrelevant.
Before you get too peeved at Cody, I have a friend whose book has been optioned for the last five years. They have a fairly well-known director attached, a good script, actors (actors whose names you would know), and they still can't get all the money raised and get it into production.
I think as long as you say it the way Jerry Lewis use to, you'll be fine.
I have a real fondness for Velvet Goldmine, but it's a very uneven movie. But I think it was very well cast and the music was terrific.
I think I love you for this comment, but in a completely platonic and not at all stalker-ish way.
But, but, but stop using stupid logic, damn you!
But don't use TendSkin if you're allergic to aspirin.
I didn't make it past the first page. And at that I was cringing the whole way.
I agree.
Sometimes a compliment is just a compliment.
