I am genuinely outraged at the number of people below who didn’t seem to get the reference.

Apparently you are unaware of who Micheal Scott is.

I enjoy having breakfast in bed. I like waking up to the smell of bacon. Sue me. And since I don’t have a butler, I have to do it myself. So, most nights before I go to bed, I will lay six strips of bacon out on my George Foreman grill. Then I go to sleep. When I wake up, I plug in the grill. I go back to sleep again.

My favorite pig joke:

Sideways may have some packaging issues, as the overall vehicle would need to be wide.

Snorkels are popular in Australia primarily for the dust aspect. It is a really big problem when you have more than one vehicle on a dirt road running at a decent clip.

Welding rust together *is* a super power.

If this doesn’t get COTD I will literally drink water

I always wanted to get a V6 Mustang and give it a “Meh 1" badge.

I daily a 1999 9-5 wagon with 191k on it. If I wasn’t a mechanic and had the will to just fix it, it would be a relatively trouble-free. As it is, I just pour coolant and oil in it on a regular basis. And it’s a car I got basically for free. So that’s fine with me.

Engine parts are good, body parts are where things get sticky and can be some delays due to availability.

As a former 2003 Saab 9-5 Linear Wagon 2.3t owner: my example was fairly reliable until 150k miles, after that it turned into money pit. Between 150k and 163k(when i got rid of it) I had to replace: turbocharger, AC compressor, ignition cassette, fuel pump, motor\trans mounts. Parts are not that expensive and you can

Best read of my weekend. Thank you.

Modern cloth sails work in an analogous to the way that an aeroplane’s wings work, by creating an aerofoil shape for the wind to pass over.

yeah even before I saw the name I thought ‘this guy sails’ from his explanation alone.

Now playing

Iceboats go faster than the wind all the time. Minimal Drag.

certified mate with a sailing certificate here.  The way i always explained it-  line up three pieces of paper.   Stand behind them and blow.  The one in the front will never move.

When you go square to the wind, the relative wind (the one of your velocity) adds up with the true wind, et voilà! The really good sailors use that effect at the fuller with lighter winds. No physical law harmed during the sailing, btw.

Paying it off immediately would most definitely affect your score negatively. Credit agencies also consider the average age of all of your accounts, and closing an account (paying it off will close the account) will also count against you. If you take out a large line of credit and then quickly close it by paying it

actually you can sail directly downwind faster than the wind. you can even sail directly UP wind ;-)  google DDWFTTW
