We have a V90 and I’m not a fan of the touchscreen for the reason you mentioned — have to keep looking at it. My biggest gripe is that you have to use the touchscreen to change the a/c settings. Nooooooo! That makes no sense, especially since the one knob there is — the radio volume — you don’t need because you can

100% this concept. I was recently shopping for a new car, and much is going the way of digital fader bars on newer vehicles. Even stuff as simple as trying to adjust the temperature, change the radio station, or set the cruise control without looking away from the road is getting more difficult to find in “manual” mode

I kinda agree with you on this. I recently had the chance to drive a new Audi and a new Benz, and was looking at a XC90/S90 as my next car. At first I thought the touchscreen would be easier to use, but the German turning/pressing nobs in the middle really allowed me to not have to take my eyes off the road to look at

Probably the saddest and most true thing I’ve ever read on Jalopnik.

Almost makes it sting more when I do see examples that came to America, but only for testing. :(

They had a few of them at the Valeo building I used to work next to. They’re really nice looking in person.

I saw a brown, manual, diesel one the other day.

Why would you go with that artist’s rendition, instead of an actual Fusion (well Mondeo) wagon:

Everything important is the same (sensors, consumables), with only body-specific engine parts like hoses being different. Of course the latter might be what needs replacing at this age, but there’s always places like RockAuto or various MR2-specific sites.

This is specifically the car I target. If this was in my area I would buy it.

No I will not buy it and fly there to pick it up and drive it home. But if it were local, I’d buy it.

The reason I love cars like this is because you can buy it, Enjoy it, Clean it up, and resell it a year later for approximately the price you

Neutral: My goal is to become so good at looking busy that nobody ever asks me to do anything, because they assume I’m already doing something for somebody else.

I didn’t know that Chrysler wagon existed. It’s strange and weird at the same time.  And now I want one.

That Dodge Rampage will be whatever in the hell it wants to be, and it will dare you to say otherwise as it brushes out its mullet and thumps a Marlboro Red in your general direction.

You never know until you try. Post some pictures of yourself in line. Maybe you’ll make the best of 2018!

I’m not sure that wearing the flesh of a cow really captures the intention behind ‘Cow Appreciation Day’...

Congratulations, you have won the prize for all-time best Takeout comment. Take a bow.

That’s how we’re going to get UBI, isn’t it? We just won’t acknowledge it as such.

Sometimes when cruising the interwebs I will put my office phone to my ear and some papers infront of me so no one comes in...
