Wow, lots of people completely missed the point of my comment. More accurately, there wasn’t really a point, and lots of people found one that wasn’t meant to be there.

I propose that the opposite is true.

I figured the repair savings would be more or less cancelled out by the more expensive insurance. But yeah, sure would be nice to have something new and under warranty for once.

I’m not saying nobody should buy this car; I just like doing ridiculous math sometimes. If I were shopping for a cheap new car, this one would seriously be one of my top contenders.
