This person has some interesting ideas about how English works. They’re very wrong, but at least they’re wrong in interesting ways.

I just realized the genius of this design. If you charge $1,000/month, most of which is to cover the cost of filters, and you design your water cooler to be so crappy that nobody wants to use it and just gets their water out of the faucet instead, your filters won’t need to be replaced as often, and your profit margin

I know that. If I thought he was, I would have said “...invented solely and completely by a gay man with no help from anyone else ever...”

Everybody has an asshole, though. You’ve probably never seen yours, but I’m pretty sure it’s there. It doesn’t sound like there’s a point to this, but there is: no matter what you believe, somebody thinks you’re an asshole for it.

Today’s XKCD seems very, very relevant:

Maybe if we remind conservatives that the modern computer was invented largely by a gay man, lots of them will boycott the internet?

What is this place called The Grays? Are we all born into original grayness? I once believed that I had left The Grays never to return, but alas, here I am again, no closer to understanding the fickle hand of fate that has brought me here. Were my many COTD awards not enough to balance out my nitpicking of your

I hope the courageous hero who snitched on her gets a nice bonus.

“This world abounds with mysteries. The Yeti, for instance. The fate of D.B. Cooper. Stevie Wonder. Add to the list his McLaren 720S, its roof halfway caved in and much of the car yard sale’d across the desert floor.”

“The water is definately kept out, and if you’re not looking at it all magnified like that photo there, you don’t really notice it.”
