I love when the 1700s scenes are scored by 1940s music. Very nice touch.

But before I get into the nitty-gritty of this review: holy crap, how great are Fitz and Simmons this season? Both actors have been given more aggressive, and juicier, material to work with, and Ian De Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge have been knocking it out of the park every time.

Rosalind wasn't a McGuffin—she was an antagonist, a character with her own motivations and agenda.

I had no problems with Ward's transition to HYDRA. There were clues to him being a mole in the first half of Season 1. But he should have died in the Season 1 finale. Instead, ME resorted to convoluted writing to keep Brett Dalton around and pretty much destroyed a character who wasn't that compelling to begin with.

Angelus was at least an interesting villain. Ward just seems like he's from the Covert Ops School of Trying Too Hard.

That was Rosalind's big mistake, not looking where she was going.

The episode revisits a lot of material as it recounts Ward’s entire history from his troubled childhood to his alliance with John Garrett and infiltration of S.H.I.E.L.D., and while a lot of the recap is intended to remind the reader of Ward’s relationships with the other members of the cast, it wouldn’t be necessary

I agree. I hate all the complaining that its not sticking to the formula, that it's trying to do something different, that it has characters you don't like. The House world isn't pretty and perfect. It's ugly and dysfunctional and that's why some of us watch it. Stop penalizing the show for not falling into your

The only thing I truly disliked about this two-parter was that damn musical number. Really? You wouldn't find such nonsense in "AGENTS OF SHIELD".

“I respect and admire Scorsese, but I get tired of his relentless framing of life as nothing but competition among men for power—represented by money, willingness to betray and kill, cocaine, and pussy.”

Wilkes' emotional outburst was interesting in the second episode. This whole situation is finally starting to get to him. I wonder what it will lead to?

“Escape From Earth-2” works better as a piece of the puzzle than a fully-realized episode.

It's amazing how so many are calling Betty "off the rails" or judging her sanity for wanting to divorce Don. It was probably one of the best things she had ever done. That man had lied to her during their entire marriage. Ten years of marriage.

And when Kate smiled through her tears and told Cassidy that she lies about Aaron being her son “because I have to,” I found that I didn’t care that the flashback didn’t tell me anything I didn’t already know or hadn’t already assumed. The moment was strong.

Also, this episode made good use of Kate at different points on the timeline: showing her now, anxious about losing Aaron, and showing her three years ago on Penny’s boat, prepared to lie for Jack in order to keep Aaron safe, and showing her three years ago on the island, helping Claire bring Aaron into the world. In

Snow White isn't blood thirsty because of Rumpel's spell. She's blood thirsty because she is tired and angry over being hunted by Regina . . . and she has no memories of David to keep her anger at bay.

What is the name of the actor who played Bruce and Silver's kidnapper?

["I still predict that Scandal’s last episode shows us Olivia as Vermont’s newest senator, while Fitz stays home with the kids and makes jam. But for now, that future seems a decent distance away."]

What do you mean by "EVEN" the Prequel movies are a work of genius? Of course they are.
