Ugh. This is the same line of thought that’s led to the Marvel backlash, isn’t it? “I liked this thing, so this other thing is going to suck.” It amuses me that at the time I’m writing this, every single response is some variation of “uh, no, audiences are adults and can recognize that more than one thing can be

At others, the show comes after Meghan in a way that could potentially be seen as a step too far, depending on where you stand on this whole affair as well as the general tone of South Park. “Isn’t it true, sir, that your questionable wife has her own TV show and hangs out with celebrities and does fashion magazines?”

Same author, same day:

I’m not really sure this is “beating a dead horse” considering it’s the Academy president talking at an Oscars luncheon about the organization’s response, and how this impacts the Oscars going forward. Seems like that’s exactly where it would be still relevant to bring up. Beyond that, I’m sure Will Smith would like

While they can speak to similar issues of representation, I’m not sure Azaria voicing Apu (and the question of whether voice actors need to match, loosely or precisely, the ethnicity or background of their characters) actually relates much to changing the backgrounds or traits of a live action character (you could be

The fact that Necessary Roughness and The Replacements isn’t on this list is a goddamn travesty.

Couldn’t disagree more with Rudy being #1, but I know I’m in the minority so I can accept it. HOWEVER, how do you completely leave off Necessary Roughness?

It’s one thing when your competition is She-Hulk on Disney+.

So to be honest there IS a lot of variety there. There was no way they were going to convince DC to ignore Superman and Batman entirely. You are getting Swamp Thing, Supergirl, and The Authority, and a bunch of stuff on streaming. Nice to finally get Robin back, maybe with a much better take than in the past. I only

This is why Taika Waititi, James Gunn, and Chloé Zhao could never make a Marvel movie.

She’s clearly going to go by Superman

The game is set up so that it is world agnostic and can be in any D&D setting or homebrewed world. The adventurers will “emphasize player choice” within the format, and offer multiple ways to succeed.

I wouldn't hate H Jon Benjamin taking over for Rick.

I agree, I think that on the one had you have the big company who saw the fans making content as a way for them to further encouraging fans and players to further the product.

I personally, cannot understand the outrage. I don’t.

Here is the funny thing. The OGL doesn’t allow people to use anything they couldn’t use anyways. All of the stuff WOTC could copyright is protected from use. The OGL just allowed people to make content without the threat of being sued for doing so. It allowed smaller publishers to make things without taking the risk

I get why you’d think it was fine, but I don’t think you understand that it’s revenue and not profit that’s being sought, in any industry with extremely slim profit margins.

Honestly, I’m totally on board with the $750k rule.

Technically speaking, trends are actually not broken

I would genuinely love to hear Elon try to explain how a swastika is an incitement to violence. While not implicating the tens of thousands of neo-nazis on his platform using all sorts of nazi symbols and language championing his legalization of free speech.
