Yeah, there were some threads in his Cap storylines that were more than a little concerning of what exactly Rick believes. His “giving villains motivations” really bordered the line of the text promoting their views. 

But here’s the fun part about writing. You don’t have to fall into those lazy traps. Yakuza doesn’t mean they have to be ninjas. They can be blunt brute force or weapons experts or good with poison. The characters lead the direction, not their race.

I appreciate the difference, but some days it’s easier for my sis to call her garlic intolerance an allergy when she already has to explain to the kitchen that she is allergic to mustard. Sure, garlic won’t kill her like mustard will, but she’ll be deeply miserable and unable to do much for 3 days. 

Yeah, but the headline is totally suggesting that the barista that gives you milk when you asked for soy is in the right, because you don’t really have an allergy to milk. You’re just intolerant.

Yeah, when I was thinking back at it, it made me feel a little uncomfortable. I think why I was hoping there would be something that could take down this guy just as easily. We sadly know the world doesn’t work that way. 

I wanted something like then Tennant take down of a previous politician, “Doesn’t she look tired?”

I really liked that movie. I rewatched it relatively recently.
