You think the people that give awards for “Best Shirtless Performance” and “Best Kiss” are are looking same high standards as those for the Hugos?

These are respected writing awards, and not the MTV awards. I would by nature expect that the best stories can wrap a emotional or political story with an engaging plot that reflect the world around us. Otherwise, I don’t know why they would be getting nominated.
