Good list. But I’d switch Sisto and Anderson. Sisto is younger and Lupo was the more hotheaded of the two, I think.
That was a good watch. Also, I have watched the moth jokes three times since yesterday and, every time, it’s the “and end this hellish facade” that gets me.
I don’t know... Sure I can see this season’s flaws but I think I’ll think about them later. I liked this episode very much. It was light at first, very funny (Colin and the bench press, that crazy haircut scene, the mushrooms revelation...), then unexpectedly brutal and then unexpectedly calm. The way all the players…
I love these people. But more Roy, please. Also, no, this fart story doesn’t sound better in French.
Barbecue sauce, indeed.
Looks like Roman Roy’s training program paid off.
I’m sure you’ve got the answer by now but I’ll give it a try. Poor Zabel’s body is laying between the living room, the second room they step in, and the kitchen, the first room they step in. He is standing in front of the door between the two rooms so his body going backwards, he ends up between the living room and…
I knew he was dead the minute they entered the house. I don’t know why. Maybe because at that moment I remembered his mother telling him to be careful, and his response to her. Maybe it was that Mare and Zabel’s previous scene together felt like a relief and it seemed like she was starting to let go of her anger a…
I enjoyed this episode exactly for those “detours”. They add a very interesting and necessary substance to the main plot. For me, it is as much a character drama as it is a crime drama. And it works because this whole environment feels lived in. I have no problem imagining that this place and these people existed…
I WISH I could forget about the Veronica Mars revival. And I say this as a huge admirer of the (original) show.
There is a Happy Valley feel to the show. And it’s a compliment.
I love Amy Aquino and I’m always happy to see her on screen. It often seems like her characters are one step ahead of everyone around, that they know more somehow.
Yes, after Will Bailey, Ron Butterfield !
She’s not in Call my agent. But Juliette Binoche is :-)
I’m not American but her accent is... incorrect, right?
Where the hell is Succession? ..... Oh, wait.
There was something in his eyes.. I liked him a lot in The West Wing (To C.J. “ I like you. You’re the one I like.”), he breaks my heart in Into the wild, so much so that I wish McCandless would have stayed and kept making leather belts with him... And well, the man was Deep Throat in one of my favorite movies.…
LOVE her. And Casual was just a gem of a show. The actors, the writing, the directing, the music, everything was so on point from the get go. I miss this kind of shows. Shows like Togetherness or Enlightened.
There’s a Se7en feel. Or maybe it’s just seeing two cops in a desert...
