There was a tape recorder.

Honestly, I think the overall canon message is that the book just comes back if it gets destroyed.

She's got the next cold open, by the looks of the teaser.

When there is a demon in front of you, and this flailing idiot in a blue shirt is trying to convince you he's done nothing wrong, you wouldn't believe the idiot.

She's as disturbed as Ash is, but since she can hold back her "catch this guy and get my job back" plan from showing on her face, none of the heroes have any reason not to trust her.

There was a demon. Everyone seemed scared of it. The opportunity to test out shooting it was there. Ash does not explain things well.

The heroes are the Ghostbeaters, tho.

Last time a knife like that was shown, it was vertebrae-deep in Ash's new friend's back.

Midseason better be "Ash has to give up the girl because every woman he has ever truly loved has turned into a demon".

TJ read my mind on that catch!

Ash thinks that everyone else who knows about the book is far crazier than him.

The ladies didn't expect a demon to be there, and Ash not being able to explain what's he's doing quickly is like his second biggest weakness.

OK, that demon's effects were amazing. The creepy twitching with the unmoving mouth looked awesome. I thought it was a tie to the claymation of the first film, but that might just be me.

That was SFX.

A of D still gives Sony lots of nostalgia-bucks.

The one problem I have with The Thing is that sometimes, the segué to the next scene is just a flat cut to black.

You don't "play" really great horror games. You get sucked into them.

Even the director felt the animal deaths were too much.

Wait, the 3rd Alex Rider book had THAT plotline? I thought that one was about the Russians or something. All that was cool in there was that he met his long term girlfriend.

Steve Blackman.
