Woohoo!
Woohoo!
And it's not as if most of the posthumous Jackson projects have been that popular. The Cirque du Soleil shows and the "This Is It" film did well, but remember the huge push the two albums got and how little impact they made? Despite all the videos for them insisting that attractive 20-somethings adore him? So 8…
You will be missed here Alasdair. But you went out on a high note in more ways than one; this was one lovely episode.
Look, if everyone else got their wiggle room, she gets it too. Besides, she ain't dead yet, just sad and in pain. Heck, she could keep traveling with the Doctor indefinitely now. He can help her cope by showing her all the beauty of the universe, which would make a great Xmas story.
Also the Ashildr/Me arc in Series 9 was all about an immortal woman who knew time travel was possible but was unable to use it.
Wait, you wouldn't accept the adventures of 12 and CyberBill? Duty of care wouldn't be such an issue, and he could fill her life with beauty to ease the pain. Could be rather beautiful for an Xmas show.
Yeah, 12 doesn't have it so bad by comparison and the Moff says we're getting an uplifting Xmas show, so…
I heard the real-life diner used as the interior of TARDIS 2.0 was booked for some filming this summer…
She won't say at this point.
No, I think Heather is coming back…
Well, he couldn't let her out alone, he'd feel the need to take the lead if it were just him and Missy…it is hard to imagine any other way to truly prove her good, actually. And I suspect there was a trap laid with this whole place to begin with. Don't be too hard on the Doctor. Good intentions are everything.
He has subconsciously chosen a face already as Twelve, who has the face of Cacelius as a reminder to save whomever he can. And following on from that, some fans honestly think Pearl Mackie is being set up as the next Doctor. But while it's possible, I doubt that will happen.
There can never be enough love in the world. And Twelve needs a lot of it, as do his companions. He hasn't had his great miracle yet, the way "The Big Bang" and "Day of the Doctor" had miracles.
Twelfth Doctor comics are pretty great, especially Year Two onwards when they switched artists. Rachael Stott or Mariano Laclaurstra depict Capaldi so beautifully. And the writing is excellent from the beginning. Twelve's voice and character is one that writers just seem to get a handle on immediately, which says a…
But they're back together now. Next week is going to be so tender as he finds a way to heal her as a Doctor should…
Yeah, 2 more episodes. Moffat has already said that the season finale leads directly into Christmas.
Yeah, but it was kind of a winky joke. Her onscreen loves were both guys (depending, granted, on how you regarded her relationship with the Doctor).
Yes, but he's short-term — he only had a few TARDIS trips. It's similar to how Captain Jack is openly bisexual, but he only had a few actual trips with the Doctor.
Also, Titan Comics' original human companions, IIRC, are mostly POC. The Tenth Doctor gets Gabby (Hispanic) and Cindy (Asian-American, IIRC), Eleven has Alice (black), and Twelve has Hattie (black). These comics are mostly set between seasons and extended gaps in the Doctors' timelines.
At a fan forum, someone freeze framed the Heather Geyser from the BBC Quarry planet in "The Pilot". It looked like a Cyber-face, and the most recent Cybermen have nanotech. Perhaps the fuel was part of that.
