Cheers to that... I constantly am researching in multiple windows: and copying and pasting from this one, while seeing some important fact in the other, comparing, etc.

It isn't Apple's business to try to coerce a solution to the ADD world

No, one full screen app per monitor isn't enough: Some windows have to be smaller because the amount of info they bring doesn't need that big a real estate, some should be bigger because of the type of work I am doing there...

I don't understand this infatuation with "Modal" computing. I do understand it on a tablet, which has limited screen size (but then, Windows 8 will allow you to "pane" two (or more?) apps. Also understandable if the tablet hasn't the horsepower to multitask while conserving battery. But when you go to the PC or Laptop

Please, please allow Silverlight Apps (like WP7)... Javascript no likey... Visual Basic if possible!

Solution: put cameras on the other side of the trees, pointed at the bay. Put huge LCD panels on the windows of Larry's house. Channel the signal of the cameras to the panels. Tout the solution as Powered by Oracle and sell it everywhere... (you could have a view of the bay even if you live in a city apartment)

That's the problem: trying to make people learn CTRL+L when there is no need for that. Google (and Microsoft) engineer mentality. Keep the USER in the forefront (even though this may go counter to what Google wants to do: make everybody go through Google)

Remember Lockerbie, where the bomber used her girlfriend to carry the bomb unbeknownst to her...

I am with you... what if the bombers used Thor or Rainbows and Unicorns to disguise their devices?

An original sneakernet would also involve 3 1/4" inch diskettes... and the counterintelligence officers would have trouble trying to find drives to read those...

Still don't know... haven't seen that movie

Yeah, Osama Bin Laden has other underlying reasons why he was a terrorist... for example, when he tried to kill the Pope, the reason is that others weren't of his religious persuasion... And the U.S.? Well, they passed through Saudi Arabia in their way to liberate Kuwait... Please continue trying to justify Osama Bin

but go to Wired.com and they say it is the best thing since sliced bread (and then proceed to quote IT "administrators" that would rather not administer anything)

Or, how about letting the Mexican police enter the US and arrest the consumers, which are the source of the problem???

Boston Big Dig

Maybe Microsoft is NOW investing, trying to catch up with Apple and Google (tha would be a good thing)

This should be pulled by a Cyclops

This is killing the profession of the hand writing analysts!

So, the Libyans who wanted to get rid of a dictator - they were just hired hands?
