The first episode is one of the best network-tv-drama pilots I’ve ever seen, and it’s not the sort of thing I tend to watch (there are no spaceships or time travel or <something else dorky>). Hell, I loathe the show I usually see it compared to (Parenthood).

It’s not so tearjerkery. That is, not constantly. I’m not a fan (it’s very well-done, but not my cup of tea), really, but my wife watches it, so I’ve seen most of the first season. The emotional stuff is more expectational than real. Until, of course, it’s not. Generally, you see the sad bits coming a mile off, and

I still love him in Grosse Point Blank (which is one of my favorite movies).

Wait, it got replaced by Red: a Crayon’s Story?! Ahahahaha, that’s amazing. The joke’s on those morons; Red : A Crayon’s Story is pure trans acceptance. Like, to the point that I can’t really even imagine what else it would be an allegory for. It’s so thinly-veiled, allegory is too strong of a word. It’s basically a

YES.

Do they have a good warranty? That’s good to know.i wearminebasically daily, and it’s definitely starting to fall apart. The cuffs are basically shredded, just from daily use. I’ll have to look into it.

Hahaha. Yeah, that might just be right, considering the general consensus of the DD Director’s Cut. :(

You know, I’ve seen parts of it, and god damn is it garbage, but looking at Kelly’s filmography, I can’t help but think he might be an artsier Troy Duffy. I think Donnie Darko was the right movie at the right time for its cult following, but I will be damned if it’s a “good” movie (and I say that as someone that

Anyone know if there’s a good reason to go with the Amazon dual-monitor mount over this Monoprice for $99?

Hah. Same. The first episode is *really* well done, though.

You know, I don’t like shows like this, most of the time. It’s kind of parenthood-y, which I hated, but I hated it because all of the characters were unlikeable fucks.

Ahhhh. I remember bread. Before I went gluten-free, I was getting pretty good at making kind of amazing homemade baguettes.

It’s brilliant. I say that with no ego, because I definitely didn’t come up with it.

I don’t care what my role is; I want to be a part of this. I can do graphic or web shit. Or some writing or editing. Whatever. I’m pretty average at a lot of stuff.

That’s something I can get behind.

“Knowledge is knowing that tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is knowing it shouldn’t go in a fruit salad.”

I would watch the hellout of that movie. We can tie it into American Gods. Somebody call Neil Gaiman.

Sean Michael Spicer opens up some good opportunities.

I get them sometimes. They are the grossest things. Possibly the worst smell I’ve ever encountered.
