VII Remake helped balance the new battling system that XV introduced, but thus far it looks like a step back to XV, which is not exciting to me. I’ll play it, cause I play em all, but its not very exciting atm.
I’ll be waiting for the Slim.
All the more reason to wait, since Sony/ Xbox games don’t hold their value for very long.
Nintendo is if nothing but consistent. And get that Switch lite outta here, that’s a portable system.
So there’s a nostalgia answer, and an actual answer (In the end, for me, the Switch will probably replace both)
Trophies are cool, but also dumb.
same.
To Anyone:
Why do you you think I don’t play games? Me not owning windows devices or Xbox anything means I don’t play games? Making that point was to show that Microsoft has an audience outside of its inner circle, and that I could be convinced even though I am not a part of their PC or gaming rings.
Never said I was a PC gamer, and if that’s ALL your previous post was about then I wouldn’t have commented.
I don’t own anything Windows or Xbox related, so I guess I must not be their target audience? if their target audience was their current installed base then they are looking at diminishing returns. That’s not what they’re doing/or at least not their desire.
Agree, and maybe their messaging has been a bit muddled, that and/or gamers still don’t get/want where MS is clearly trying to go by breaking through/dismantling the standard GEN barrier. The platform is clearly GamePass not Xbox, but people don’t get it yet.
The thing is, they still need you to buy hardware, Gamepass is not everywhere and thus if you don’t have a gaming Windows PC, or an XBone, you will still need to buy something in order to use GamePass, so they still need to convince you somehow. Sure when XCloud becomes integrated and support for more platforms become…
Same thing on how The Expanse became an Amazon Original as of Season 4, and now it’s basically Amazon’s, this happens to a lot of shows where the original network or service no longer wants it.
Unless they’re planning a Pikmin Trilogy, then there’s nothing wrong with releasing this “Pikmin 4" whenever, but i suspect if the Metroid Trilogy is real, that they are timing it with Prime 4, and thus they will sit on it.
The Japanese Direct Mini was waaay better, but you have to care about genres that NOA doesn’t believe we care about. it was also a more modest 12 min, and featured more games, no WWE in sight!
That seems to be the case for Japan, October 29th.
It’s extremely niche, more niche that Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore, and Nintendo at least published that title.
