The game is fun! So Nintendo has that going for it.

I was hoping for something that really would say how grateful Nintendo was to its loyal fans, instead this is what the press release states about elite status, who knows maybe there will bea few surprises, but this doesn't give me high hopes.

I think until the majority of gaming media stops with number and stars as scores, Metacritic is going to matter. I get why you are so turned off by this and I applaud Kotaku's rating system, but Metacritic isn't one voice, it isn't one person.

I'm still waiting on this...and I'll be waiting until i die, or move to Europe. I won't upgrade unless nintendo brings this model over the NA.

Nintendo is a business yes, and they are in it to make money yes, but Nintendo doesn't look a profits first when making game decisions. Of course they know which of their IPs sells better, and will continue to make them for years to come. But I do believe that they want to make games fun before anything else.

Innovation doesn't guarantee success!
