Who cares how pussified it is, it's beautiful.

First-gen 3.5L SOHC Chrysler. Such a lovely intake, and the twin throttle bodies have "Holley" stamped on them in a highly conspicuous location. One of the best-sounding domestic V6s ever made, too.
@nick49: The *QUAD* ECMs and miles of associated wire make an M70 swap into anything (including a similar-vintage M70-powered 7) the very definition of "project car hell."
@PunisherBass: We're tired of merely having the fastest lap. :D
For, er, more... modern driveability and power, you need a 5.2 Magnum coupled to an A518 electronic overdrive transmission. The PCM is simple and easy to transplant, and there's no reason you wouldn't want to see mileage figures conceivably north of 20 and, of course, 235bhp.
@Scuba Steve: Also:
@Scuba Steve: Wizardized mid-'80s Chevy van seen in the Advance Auto Parts parking lot near my home:
@Zuzax: Clearly you two have never been to a Lemons race.
@PunisherBass: We're (Police Brutality) bringing the Mark VIII, with a new theme and some trick reliability mods.
@two wheels are enough: If an M70 can fit in a '63 Tbird, then yes, an S70/2 can fit in your E39...although for bonus points it'd be in an E38, aka the best-looking Bimmer ever.
@GV_Goat: Not really an issue seeing as how they both redline around 4Krpm...
I remember when that was first posted a couple months ago, and there was a big hubbub about it at KSC. My good friend is an instrumentation engineer on Discovery and relayed that they actually had a huge investigation as to who had done it. I don't know if they ever found out who posted it, but he would have been…
All those clean, rust-free Southern (hemisphere) cars are ruined!
@My Trabi is a bi-turbo hybrid with NOS!: Movies are shot on film. Which has to be developed. It's not TV.
Their CEO appears to be writing at a 6th-grade level!
I really wish the old dude who owns the big truck junkyard didn't think everything that's been sitting in his yard is made of gold... I need a big, obnoxious air horn (and compressor and tank) for my big, obnoxious diesel.
@LTDScott: I have a set from an 88 Sedan DeVille in my Ramcharger. I need to procure another set for my dually to replace the anemic factory horns.
@Jones Foyer: I fit well enough in my mother's '08 Rio to drive it on several 300 mile trips. Would have been a lot more comfortable if it had cruise, and I'm glad I didn't hit anything lest my knee become one with the radio...
@Adam Spano: That 9mm slug accelerates a lot faster than even the most NAWSSSSSS-enhanced literbike...
They have pelicans in Maranello, right?
