I didn’t ignore them; those links are talking about stock ownership. NOT the distinction between if it is owned privately or by government.

I will repeat,

You are talking about the difference between their stock sales; quite different than how the ownership rights.

It is owned privately EVEN if they sell stock to the public. You are confusing two completely different concepts.

Wrong - they are publically TRADED companies. NOT the same thing as a PUBLIC company. A PUBLIC company means it is owned by the state.

That is basic economics.

YES companies traded on the stock market ARE private companies BY DEFINITION.

NOT BEING owned by government - that is the DEFINITION of private. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Anything that is created on a voluntary basis, NOT through the force of government is private. It does NOT matter if it is owned by 1 person, 500 people, or a union that allows people to buy in to. ALL THAT MATTERS for it to

My biggest pet peeve is when they have interviews with “experts” that have no background in science or relation to the field (An example of the latter being Bill Nye speaking on Fukushima. He was a “science guy” so people thought what he was saying was correct. Little did they know there was a lot of incorrect

Yeah I was starting to feel like a slacker. That’s way too much trouble for sneakers. I throw them in the washing machine every once in a while, and when they get too bad, I just buy new ones. Problem solved.

Please show me someone not on a tennis court who doesn’t look ridiculous in toothpaste-white sneakers.

When I'm driving I do what everyone else who is driving should be doing... paying attention to the road. Most of my issues come from distracted drivers who are intently listening to a podcast or book, or who are on their phone be it transcribing a blog post or calling someone. It would be nice to be doing other
