True :) It seems to generate from old/passed down societal, old stereotypes. I totally can relate to what she’s talking (and sympathetic to) about having been thru similar situations myself - the callous comments, preconceived notions, etc.

Men AND women. Speaking as a man of ethnic background, and having been on some of these dating sites, I find that the only women who will typically show interest or accept my interest are people of similar skin color - very rarely outside of it.

I’m a minority, and no better champion for diversity or seeing a minority be recognized or awarded. Just my opinion, but this year there were not really outstanding films (good ones, but nothing that really stood out) by minorities or starring minorities; not like in years past where there were superb ones.
