OK this reminds be quite a bit of Final Fantasy The Spirits Within. I’ve never played any of the FF games, so was there any other follow up to the movie? I would have loved to spend more time in that universe!

Oh man now I feel kinda bad that I’ve never seen any Doctor Who and seen only the last Star Trek movie. I tend to like uplifting stories!
It is one of the most fascinating AMAs I’ve read in quite a while. She even calls out to some of Scientologist people who are bound to be reading through this kind of stuff! Take a look here:
Haha I liked Elsie quite a lot! She’s nowhere near as accomplished an actress as Maeve but her dialogue and attitude were the best in the show for me.
Ah well I mostly follow the reddit westworld discussions online and there the Maeve supporters are outnumbered by the detractors: they (mostly) don’t hate the character as much as the action surrounding her. The dumb technician subplot did not help.
Despite Maeve not exactly being a fan favourite (not as much as Elsie certainly), some of the literary allusions in her story is fantastic! Like this:
Well it still hasn’t officially released here in India so basically all of you are beta testing the app for us. Thanks for that BTW.
Tsunami observations from JMA are available in English here:
I suspect they didn’t deliberately bury it. The full name of Teddy the-perpetual-loser offers a clue: Theodore Flood.
FWIW, nytimes reports that there is another paper scheduled to come out in Nature soon that argues the basin could have formed simply from the weight of nitrogen ices pushing down on the crust and an impact crater is not needed. Though I agree with you that until we get a gravimetric sat like GRACE around Pluto,…
(copypasting my comment from the last time this came up:)
Maybe it’s because I just saw them, but GITS so far looks just like Æon Flux or Ultraviolet did. I just hope it’s not like Rupert Sander’s last Snow White film. That movie was gorgeous to look at too, but it lacked substance. At least this will have the benefit of a better storyline.
I say that because strengthening coalitions between like-minded people is how we defeated the communists after suffering some 32 odd years under their rule. A charismatic down-to-Earth leader than people from the villages could relate to helped as well
I’m Indian: I have felt the crushing defeat of elections going against me plenty of times and all it does is make the next victory all the sweeter. All I can offer as comfort is that politics can only play as big a role in your life as you let it. Stay and talk with people of like-mind, immerse yourself in work,…
George mentioned it, but Curiosity has already discovered a bunch if iron meteorites before!
Thank you!
I mean, I would say it is true!
There are thousands of scientists, environmentalists and politicians who have dedicated their lives to caring for the planet. Despite setbacks, they have made remarkable progress in protecting endangered exotic species around the world.
Aww, I find him rather aware and sympathetic. Take this comment, for instance, while responding to someone posting about how “My ex told me I was disgusting after rape” this is what he said:
I have a very vague idea of American news channels other than CNN and FOX, so pardon me if I’m mistaken, but is this the same WPIX news who were one of those who broke the impact of the second plane on 9/11 live? Cause they were one of the many, many channels who were syndicated and displayed across the world on that…
