The idw comics has the purple-haired love interest, the magic earrings, the Misfits and Synergy. sure is moving some things around like making the Misfits the established group while the Holograms are just trying to break into the business, but there will be rivalry!!

The comics have synergy, the holographic tecnology , and all the color this thing is missing. The triangle with Rio seems that is going to change but for the better!

I am trying the same as recomending the comic but not with much sucess :( Which is a pity because only two numbers in is awesome. And did not have the need to dump all the fantastic elements :(
We are all better reading the comic series, only two numbers in and is already doing all the things the movie should have been doing and doing them right. It does have holograms, synergy, over the top glam, lots of hair, color everywhere and the story is actually interesting. A good remake can be done people. XD

On the other hand the IDW comics are going great!!! Two numbers out at this moment I don’t think the movie will be able to live up to them. XD
