My lingering question about Quidditch is why the stadium wasn’t packed with scouts. There seems to be about a 1:1 between professional Quidditch teams in England versus Premier League soccer teams, yet there’s only one wizarding school in the country producing players these teams are primarily drafting from. Wouldn’t

Not technically a fit, but I do find it interesting that Justin Theroux’s acting career really didn’t take off until he a did a stretch writing screenplays (Tropic Thunder, Iron Man 2, etc) in the late 00s/early 10s.

US example beyond just a limited series: Vice Principals fined it’s entire run before the first season ever aired.

Pretty solid list, but I can’t help but feel AP Bio should have been included here.  Season two was such a marked improvement over season one, it became appointment television in my house in a time when appointment television doesn’t exist any more.

The fact that we spent the entire drive home from Endgame talking about Thor shows you just how far that character has come. Up until Ragnarok, Thor was such a forgettable character in the MCU.  Now there’s no one else in the MCU that puts a smile on my face faster.

We just wrapped up the first season of Sick Note. I found his performance to be a lot more natural than Don Johnson, the veteran cast member.  I’m not sure if that’s a Grint complement or a Johnson burn...

Articles about this Dracula series always mention that Moffat+Gatiss have done this “re-envisioning of an old literary character” shtick before with Sherlock, but pass right over that Sherlock followed the formula they did a few years earlier with Jekyll. It’s been years now, but I seem to recall Jekyll not being half

American Vandal, Bojack, and Norm Macdonald Has a Show all drop on the same day.  Dayyy-umm

How Bojack Horseman went unnoticed for another year (and South Park snags a nom?) is still beyond me. And the finale for Nathan for You remains one of the best things to grace television in 2017, not that I would expect any recognition from Emmy there.

It isn’t much, but seeing a nom for American Vandal delighted me to no end.

On the strength of the season finale alone, Nathan For You seems like the most glaring omission from this list.

The irony being that David S Pumpkins was already a retread of whatever that character was that Larry David played in the shooting range skit a few months prior. Soon every guest host will get one.
