The only reason those stickers exist is because some people think that it’s an impressive feat to run a long way (even though basically anyone could do it if they took the time), and a subset of those people feel an uncontrollable need to brag about the fact that they ran a long way.

I am black with locs for 14 years. I gotten compliments from people that I wouldn’t expect and have received hate from black people saying I should cut them for jobs. ( never had problem with employment) Lin does not bother me cause who cares.
