I take it you haven't been watching the show then because Will is not a strong moral character at all. He is all sorts of shades of gray.

Constantine is airing in the slot that NBC has aired shows where the "hero" is not very heroic at all in Dracula (so campy!) and Hannibal (an amazing show) so I don't see being on NBC as any type of proof that Constantine won't be an unlikable dick.
Now I see what that gamers' entitlement thing really is. Gamers can truly be the worst.
Yeah, I'm not sure what other instances you're talking about. This is the first time I've seen him in a less than reputable situation, and I think he actually handled it rather well. There isn't really any other way to handle this.
You are alluding to his dislike of people threaten women with violence online, I presume. You're on the wrong side of... everything.
Have you been taking a poll? I'd love to see this quantified, just in case your post isn't actually dripping with irony.
Cool, you should start a business that runs on "being grateful" for fans, call me when you become rich.
Just a reminder that if you're buying Early Access, buy it for what the game offers right now, not for what the future might hold.
Hey dickwad, not all guys are as insecure as you. I'd like a female player protagonist because sometimes - and in fact very often - that is the right gender of character for the part. The player protagonist is not supposed to BE me, the WHOLE POINT is they can be very very different from me.
The numbers are there, certainly. I don't see how forcing those 80% male players to play with male characters means that they're "gearing their games toward them".
I'm sure somebody has responded in the previous 82 comments with something similar to what I'm about to say, but shouldn't Ubisoft see that huge male skew as an untapped female market? Sure, 80% of action gamers are men, but isn't it possible that a female assassin/player character could increase the 20% of women to…
You know what though? Somewhere between 80-95% of that male audience is straight, and as a straight man, I can tell you, I sure prefer looking at females over looking at males. Somehow, I feel adding female assassins wouldn't've hurt their bottom line that much.
Actually, women make up 37% of the Console digital download market (and are growing each year). There are roughly 214 million people who bought digital content on a console in 2013 - and 37% of that is 80 million women. To put that in to perspective, the population of France is an estimated 62.5 million people.
Ha. I work in gaming, and if I told my boss that I made a design decision to exclude 20% of my audience, I'd be fired.
So... You're using data from two years ago, that is more than likely biased, flawed, and outdated. And you're also only taking into account a singular system(ahem, what about the PS3, since all the AC games have been multiplatform) that's been primarily geared towards "what's popular" as opposed to what's actually…
7% of the world's population is white men. Why do I have to be on the face of every single game ever? I feel like such a celebrity!
As a male that likes to play female characters on occasion I disagree with this sentiment. It's another element of the role playing that I enjoy. My 2 favorite characters in Skyrim are both female. I can't really explain why it is that I enjoy it, maybe it's because it's even more different than what I am. Also it…
Conveniently ignoring the notion that more females might play if they had the option to play female characters...
yeah, but lets go a little further, im a male, a straight one in fact, probably also a data point, and you know what i prefer to see on screen? hint, not a guy. unless he is a cool looking monster guy like an argonian or iksar or a awesome robot.
Chicken and egg?
Perhaps those percentages (assuming they're correct) would evolve if more titles within those genres transcended being testosterone-fueled dude fests?
