I'm not a Reynolds fan, but his work in projects like Van Wilder (which was probably an influence on the Deadpool comics) Blade 3 show that tonally Deadpool is in his wheelhouse. However, Sean William Scott would be another ideal candidate, and after Goon, I'd actually look forward to it.
