In this week’s Panel Discussion video, Stephen and I talk about what Sex Criminals #1 and Young Avengers #10, two different takes on coming of age and figuring one’s self out. It’s all safe for work, though, so no need to hide your monitor.

Scientist? Scientist? Do you remember the time you tried to drill a hole in your own head?

You do have a good point there. It's probably best to see how the next gen games will impact my system before deciding what really needs to be upgraded.

Hilarious. Community's D&D episode was also quite good.

The Key and Peele skit slayed me. Their delivery of the whole idea was just flawless.

Exactly with you. My last build was an 8-core AMD system with two AMD graphics cards. It blew i7 systems out of the water. My upcoming build is a dual-socket Intel board with a pair of Titan cards. It will be my new workstation baby.

I thought of the Key and Peele skit too. Also, my next d&d character will be named L'carpetron Dookmarriott.

I hate when people make parodies of things and the whole joke isn't so much a joke as just pointing and shouting at said thing - its like, "Hey guys, look! Nerds! Dungeons and Dragons is a thing, isn't that funny? Har har!" It's boring and it's the laziest, cheapest form of humor.

No, nVidia has superior performance generally thanks to CUDA. Tho AMD's latest generation that part is up for debate with mid and low end cards. The real reason you would seek out nVidia, for graphics editing that is, is for the Quadro series specifically designed for graphics editing work stations. These Quadro cards

One of my favorite D&D parody films has to be the Gamers and (the much higher budget) Gamers 2: Dorkness Rising.

You can tell they all love D&D and are generally making fun of the various exploits or rule holes found in the game. Rather than making fun of the players.

I know! I love me some SGSSAA. It's the only thing keeping me on the green team right now. Is there a well optimized alternative full scene SSAA for AMD?

Arkham City with Physx on high is amazing. The Mr. Freeze boss fight blew my mind. And the freeze-gun/Penguin part as well.

Nvidia has better, more frequent driver updates, better performance, PhysX, doesn't screw up when I use HDMI with it, and doesn't do that crap native resize failure that AMD does (if I want to play Age of Empires at 1024 * 768, Nvidia scales properly; AMD flails and then screws up).

You could actually do the same sort of image for most of the industrialized world. And a couple 3rd world countries.

My week-old PC (first build) is running a GTX 760. Not a bad card at all.

No brand allegiance— AMD just had the better bang for the buck when I purchased in my price range 100-150$

Oh man, you are in for a treat.

I think he meant, when it comes out...
